Lancing Marine provides a boat speed prediction and
propeller calculation matching service for all vessel types using our in house propeller calculation program.
This tool has been developed and refined over many years for multiple different vessel types.
The estimation accuracy is dependant on the information provided. Attributes needed: hull type, vessel all up weight, waterline length, engine power, engine rated speed, gear reduction ratio, drive type (shaft, stern, surface) together with any special considerations.
Please either call or e-mail us if you would like help with propeller selection for your application. Single calculations can be provided during normal working hours. All advice provided is complementary without charge.

Please contact us for special adaptions. We can size and specify propellers to meet your custom application. Price indications as follows:
Pitch/diameter ratio 1.5:1 or higher: +10%
Stock propeller adjustment to your required diameter, pitch or bore we charge £20 per blade.
Boring of propeller (to suit your taper requirements typically 1:12 Imperial, 1:10 Metric ): £75
Cupping (use when replacing cupped propellers or for highly loaded applications): +10% on price.
Extra thickness (ideal for heavy duty applications): +10% on price.
Double extra thickness (ideal for inland waterways, light ice and where there is greater risk of impact): +20% on price.
Skew increased up to 30 deg on GOLDLINE or POWERLINE: +20% on price.
Skew increased up to 45 deg on GOLDLINE or POWERLINE: +25% on price.
Class '1' (for smoother running): + 15% on price.
Class 'S' (for smoother running on high speed vessels): + 30% on price.
Large bore (larger than max shown in price list): Price on application
Special bore machining, reverse bore etc: Price on application
