EJ Bowman stainless steel inline plate heat exchangers provide a compact and highly efficient solution for transferring heat between two fluid circuits. By passing fluids across a series of corrugated stainless steel plates vacuum-brazed into a sealed unit, a large heat transfer surface area is created within a small footprint.
The inline design allows both fluid circuits to pass directly through the heat exchanger without changes in direction, enabling simple installation into existing pipework while maintaining efficient thermal transfer.
These units are widely used for engine oil cooling, hydraulic oil cooling, water-to-water heat transfer and glycol systems in marine propulsion engines, generators, industrial machinery and process installations.
Two construction options are available: standard copper-brazed units for general heat transfer duties, and copper-free stainless steel brazed units designed for fuel cooling or applications involving aggressive fluids such as ethanol-blended fuels.

These plate heat exchangers are compact, lightweight units manufactured from 316 stainless steel plates vacuum brazed together to form a strong, sealed heat transfer core.
The plate design creates turbulent fluid flow across a large surface area, providing efficient heat transfer while keeping overall size and weight to a minimum.
Typical applications include engine oil cooling, hydraulic oil cooling, water-to-water heat transfer, glycol heating systems and general industrial process cooling.
Maximum working pressure 6 bar. Maximum working temperature 185°C (110°C with water).
Note: Standard copper-brazed models are not suitable for ethanol-based fuels or aggressive chemical fluids.

FUEL COOLERS - INLINE PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS COPPER FREE 10, 15, 20 SERIES

Fuel Cooler Typical applications include:
Marine propulsion engine fuel cooling
Generator and industrial engine fuel systems
Closed-loop diesel return fuel cooling
High performance petrol engine fuel systems
Industrial engines operating on ethanol blends or biofuels
Dynamometer Fuel Mass-Flow Measurement Systems
